Western Rail Treatment Options

CCA : (full pressure treated product)
This treatment option is available for rural fencing projects.

Butt Treated : (copper napthenate)
We butt treat our posts with Copper Napthenate. This
treatment has proven to be very durable.
In our arid climate it is not always
necessary to treat the entire post.
Many of our customers appreciate
the reduced amount of chemical and enjoy the look of the
untreated wood above ground.
This treatment option appeals to those who prefer a natural look
above ground in relatively dry climates.
NOTE: Posts can be stained after installation.

Sunwood : (full pressure treated product)
A cedar colored pigment is added to the treatment to create a
more aesthetically pleasing product.
